Characterizing a Higher Education A college degree is the way in to a profession, not only work; it is an advanced education that invigorates the mind to deal with new difficulties, and the insight to see the master plan of life. Understudies who go to school are looking for the information it takes to carry on with a superior life. Two writers who examine their perspectives on training in their articles are Jon Spayde, â€Å"Learning in the Key of Life† and John Henry Newman, â€Å"The Idea of University.† Both papers talk about the significance of an advanced education, however each writer has an alternate definition. In the paper, â€Å"Learning in the Key of Life,† Jon Spayde relates instruction from a college to this present reality, and characterizes training as an association among the real world and thoughts (62).
